Rule of Law Republicans

One of my hopes is to talk to an intelligent conservative someday. Somebody who can agree to use only facts in an argument. Somebody who uses logic instead of baseless rhetorical and fallacious arguments.

Most are like my brother, who still thinks that Obama is trying take over 'murrica in order to punish white people for European colonial depredations on his homeland, Kenya and Africa in general.

But hey, if these "lawn order Republicans" can help pry some GOP love away from Trump, I'm all for it. I just don't know if they are ready to stick to facts just yet.

No it isn’t, pedophile

A partial list. After you've refuted them, ( giggle) I'll get some more. Fetch.

1. Consist of many obedient followers who do so WITHOUT question

2. Has a flag/symbol of said belief

3. Belief in some entity that can do things that normal human beings cant or don’t have the right to

4. Believes said entity to be the supreme ruler of the land 4. Believes one has an obligation to OBEY decrees in books by said supreme ruling entity

5. Speaks about the entity as though its an actual being that can do things, for example: - “(insert god) allows us to do this with its permission” - “I serve the (insert god/deity here)”

“It's a beautiful thing, the destruction of words.”
― George Orwell, 1984

Uh, huh.

- “Im a representative of (insert god/deity here)” - “im here on behalf of (insert god/deity here)”

6. Believes all deserve to be punished who disobey the word of said entity and its representatives

7. Believes one must beg, petition or ask permission from entity or its representatives before being allowed to do things in life, otherwise it is forbidden by said entity

8. Lives life according to the teaching, doctrines, boundaries/barriers, does and don’ts of said belief written in some form of book or text.

9. Has never actually seen entity with own eyes or can even describe what it looks like visually without mentioning temples, books or men and women in costumes.

10. Sees those who oppose it as traitors, heretics, rebels, bad people

11. Has huge temple like buildings as monuments for said entity and belief system

12. Has men and women in costumes representing said entity and doing its bidding on behalf of it

13. Will give ones life and even go into battle in the name of said belief if commanded to do so by a representative of this entity

14 Huge endearment for symbol/flag of said belief and is offended when it is disrespected

15 Believe that their entity and belief is righteous and every other one is either wrong, bad or inferior

16 Will only do things If it has been said to be approved by said entity/deity

17 Believes that said entity will protect, provide, serve and secure the people who believe and obey it

18. Cannot imagine a world without said belief or deity 19. Gets defensive when said entity and belief is challenged and questioned.

20. Cannot keep logically consistent in their own head when talking about said belief

21. Will dodge questions and use other tactics like vague word usage, ridicule or verbal attacks to avoid direct discussion on what they believe and will try to steer the conversation in another direction.

22. Believes that all law comes from this entity and belief system

23 Will obey, believe in and live by it UNQUESTIONABLY

24. Indoctrinated into the belief at an early age

25. Offers the young as some sort of sacrifice claiming to be for ‘good of the land/nation’

Think carefully about many of the things which followers of ‘government’ and authority adhere to and the things they believe and advocate and then look at that list again.

If you’re honest with yourself, you’ll see that it it seems the belief in this thing called ’government’ shares quite a few (if not ALL) the similarities mentioned to most beliefs in some sort of ‘god’.

If you yourself are a follower of government, chances are you will deny, ridicule and get offended by this with your whole entire being, and if that is the case, so be it, that in of itself may show your religious belief and loyalty to the god called ‘government’. If after reading this you’ve become offended and outraged, then you’re probably a religious follower of the state.

So you believe that in order to protect people from those who might threaten them or extort them, there must be a "system" that has it's basis in threatening and extorting people ? That was a rhetorical question, you do believe that.

That's impossible, that's also your "reality".

Submerges all logical discussion that doesn't reinforce his internal echo chamber. Believes in the demonstrably impossible and is afraid of the neighbor's mean dog. Pathetic. Quick somebody call "an authority". Waaah!!!

If a person runs into a stranger, I don't see any other possiblity. One will become the bitch. That's how humans work. It sucks, but it's reality. Unless someone has an ulterior motive, like wanting to please a god, it's very rare a person will be rational without resorting to extortion to make the illusion of peace.

It is in MY best interest for other people to be free. "Allowing" that, is the only logical way for ME to be free.

When authority worship (the practice and acceptance of politics) is the prevailing societal sentiment, which it presently is, freedom is impossible. Politics is fundamentally and inescapably an assurance of servitude and the negation of freedom and peace. Some people want to keep it that way...some do not.

The future unfolds, will mankind survive ? Evolve? Be eaten by aliens or roving bands of intergalactic predatory fungi? I don't know. I just know I want to be free, therefore I "allow" others the same right. It is the only logical course to achieve it.
