Rubio wants immigration reform

"Here's how I envision it," he told the Journal. "They would have to come forward. They would have to undergo a background check. … They would have to pay a fine, pay back taxes, maybe even do community service. They would have to prove they've been here for an extended period of time. They understand some English and are assimilated. Then most of them would get legal status and be allowed to stay in this country."
The system would not only crack down on illegal immigration, but he says it would also benefit undocumented workers. "When someone is [undocumented] they're vulnerable to being exploited."
Besides being a solution to the immigration issue, Rubio says it is politically beneficial to his party. Obama won an overwhelming percentage of Latino and other minority voters.

People who came here illegally are somehow going to tell the government how much income they have been paid under the table and miraculously have been witholding that amount to pay the government?

Yeah, sure...

I believe people have the right to travel the earth freely. Government does not own the people inside it's boarders and they are not accountable to the government who's purpose it is to serve "people". Not regulate them and "grant" them permission to walk on land.

No one is allowed to travel freely without having a back ground check

However the way our immigration system is rigged against those who come here illegally
They have no choice.

If Canada offered me the opportunity to feed my family and make 50x as much as I do here. yet wouldnt allow me to immigrate
I would sneak across the border in a heart beat and take my chances so would you

Every country except the United States is allowed to protect itself from illegal dipshits?

I have this for a solution. Any illegal, from any country, even expired visas from say Sweden, gets conscripted for four years on the front lines, both men and women Afterwards you get full citizenship.

you make it seem as though we were disallowed from voting for the romney model. we were given the choice, and we chose not to.

then you went off on your half cocked, racial epithet laden, post election meltdown.

that was funny.

They have the choice to stay in their own country or break the law...

AND you would expect to be deported if you were discovered, evidenced by "and take my chances". However, THIS country shouldn't be allowed to enforce it's own laws because its inconvenient to the illegals who decided to "take their chances"? That about sum it up?
