not all over, but will Vaseline on a broken stem help the stem heal? i was trying to bend it and it broke.

I heard that cloning gel works....but I really don't know...just a thought..

I use masking tape, just leave a tab so its easy to pull off in a week when its healed

How broke is broke? If it broke off then no amount of vaseline is going to help. If it's just bent and a little ripped then I'd let it be and see. I just over bent one of mine while weaving it through the "screen"...and it appeared bad... leaves wilted. I just let it be as the stalk was still resting on the screen to hold it up. Today I woke up...and the stalk and leaves were all perked up and back in the business of growing.

If you don't have a screen... prop it up with a stick and let mother nature do the healing.
