hey everyone at RIU just wondering if anyone knew where I could get some cheap 3" net pots(if this is the right size for dwc) hydroton and rockwool. also I need a ph and ppm meter(i believe) any links or stores would be much appreiated.

these will be used for a dwc in a rubbermaid box(2 35gal) with a 150w hps cooltube I have 3 airstones a airpump a 12gal rubbermaid for the dwc and 2 168cfm comp fans and 2 110cfm comp fans 2 of the fans will be used for the cooltube the others will be for exhaust and will have 2 passive intakes(what size?) I may also put 6 cool white cfls thaanks fo your time everyone!
EDIT: also what organic hydro nutes would you recommend for a noob?

-----if you dont have a hydro store near you those are not bad prices......hydro shops aren't cheap either....

I would think your intakes should be the same size as your exaust or bigger if passive. Start the same size and see if you create much suction/strain on the fans when you close it up..... The are some pretty ingenious ideas in the DIY sections here.

On organic nutes........... I mostly used just organics when I was in soil. Since I 've been doing hydro(still noob) I 've switched to the easier lines. I use Canna Aqua series. I had used Fox Farm's Big Bloom(100% Organic) and it seemed to clog everything up and just settle in the bottom.....but I am running a areoponic system and an flood table. I 've also used GH's flora series and have heard many good things about it as well---it's a 3 nute series and reasonably priced.....

If your looking to buy anything online: do a search for hydroponic supplies and there are many many options. BGHydro Hydroponics | Hydroponic Supplies is pretty reputable, as is Worm's Way Worm's Way - Gardening Products, Supplies, Service, Support, and Knowledge Base for all your hydroponics, indoor, outdoor and organic gardening needs, year 'round! and Home Harvest Gardening Supplies | Greenhouse, Nursery & Hydroponic Supplies for Every Season at Home Harvest Garden Supply

Hope some of this helps!! Great luck to you!

go to your local head shop. every city has one. hopefully you are in a big city. they usually have all the needs of a hydroponics garden. ph kit will cost you around 20 bucks. this is a great place to find things. GENERAL HYDROPONICS

good luck hun
