Spice is definitively old world genetics.It was originally made in 87 and then had a few improvements in the early 90s only to remain the same since then.

Since Hawaii had no land races this Spice comes from a long history of serious breeding done with specially adapted indicas and sativas. Over the years and through a lot of interbreeding they have become very personalized and unique. My experience with these different adapted strains coming out of islands of Hawaii shine through on this plant.

Spice is a fruity flavoured sweet aromatic plant.
It really is a distinct strain with its leaf traits and smell.
Very wide leaves, they over lap a fair bit and they are short.The plants are also short.

Spice is basically 75 indica:25 sativa.The phenotype usually comes out similar.
If you go for the sativa aspects it will be comparable to SSH in the way that it will grow straight up with fluffy-ball shaped buds...maybe not as strong but different.If you choose on the indica side of things then you may find some serious strong and acrid smells that got her her name Spice.

It is advisable to keep a constant ec for her. She responds better to a very consistant climate. Climate being the wholistic elements of the entire grow room...air, air circulation, temp, water ph... If you are any sorts of growers this lady is fun. If you room is not up to scratch then she will repay you with the equivalent budage...

What I usually do is give her an ec of 1.6-1.8 with a ph of 5.8 when she grows on rockwool.As she gets developed reduce the Ec to 1.4 the last few weeks before flushing the nutrients out the last week or so".

Thanks for the info dude i was more looking for info on hawaiian super skunk if it is even a strain lol but some top info there. The more i read about Spice the more I'm talking myself into getting it as a stand alone strain would defo need to monitor my feed a bit better by the sounds of it!

Yeah always worth a shot hey. The hawaiian skunk would be a hawaiian sativa x skunk so finding a good pheno of each would be easy enough!

Yeah true it will be a fun journey looking for the one based on hazy memories, and different taste buds to when i was younger but i will always remember the smell. No worries bud I can't wait to see some grows of it on IG and the like. Will update pic's on here soon and start putting pic's on IG tonite.

lol. That hawaiian taste that you'll never forget, and I've haven't tasted since. It was mowie wowie that exemplified that flavor for me. I have some Island Bubble. i haven't grown it yet, but it is in the vault. I'm hoping for that most excellent yum!

I love the tastes you get from the tropical sativas though i've had a couple that tasted/smelt horrid like rotten garbage/fruit but that could well have been grower error as most of them were when i was in school and my mates would steal from their oldmans seed stashes and we'd do them out bush lol the chung lee i did had afgooey in which i believe has a hawaiian sativa in it i will have to check.

Clones from a mate of a mate lol. skunk x unkown og x unkown (maybe a thai x) he's not good at records :wall:.clones - Copy.jpgtwo pheno's, one's the rotten fruit/gabage pheno and the other is cheesy with a sickly sweet fruit smell in there to, i prefer the later. good smoke and a little trippy.

Just using a mars 300, a 30watt and 15 watt led in a cupboard for veg until they get too big then i've got a dimmable 600watt and a 1.5m tent the big heavy coolvent hood and a 6 in exhaust. I'm just using red powerfeed and some richgro phos pellets that i make a tea out of to up the P and some cal mag nit when i think they need it (they probaby don't lol) mainly just whatevers cheap at bunnings i also use brunnings coco the big block for $16 and flush the shit out of it before i pre-charge with low level nutes includine a good dose of cal mag nit from gt. I want to go notill but can't really have big pots yet to hard to move and hide.
