Started 1 ea Northern Lights and Tangerine Dream ( Growers Choice) on Oct 25th. under my 50 watt LEd panel the girls didn't grow much in the first three weeks but when I shifted them to my 225 w Panel, WOW explosion of Growth.
I'm using a Aeroponic system made up from Ruff Neck tubs with a 400 GPH pump but only four sprinklers. The first pic is my seedlig tub. 2nd Pic is the sprayer bar. 3rd pic is the seedlings after a week in the seedling tub.

Had a bit of trouble in the rapid rooters, the roots wouldn't come out of the rooter. I put them in the Aero Tub and things started happening. After four days they started rooting and growing.

After a month they were spurting up. #67

Had a scare last week ( Leaves tacoing) and RIU helped me figure out the humidity was too low (~20%). Put a wet towel in the room, got humidity up to 40% and they seemed to relax a bit. In this cool winter the furnace really dries out the house.

Today I set up the Scrog net and, Oh Darn, broke a main stem! Wrapped it with tape and I hope it works out.

The Northern Lights is HUGE compared to the TD. #78

My only concern is the I see no pistils after 6 weeks from germination? I ran a TD last round and she showed pistils a lot sooner?

Forgot to add:
PH 5.8 and seems to be dropping. My PH pen has to be calibrated every day?

PPM was about 600 when I set the mix but today was down to ~500 PPM. The girls must be munching down on the GH Bloom and Micro. Roots are going wild now and looking nice.

Forty-nine days and still no pistils! The Northern Lights is over powering the Tangerine Dream. I'm going to have to adjust the scrog net to give the TD some more room.

Finishing the 7th week from Germination, still no pistils! The NL on the left is much bigger that the TD on the right. They are still stretching, How much bigger will they get?

Well still no pistils? However the broken stem seems to have healed and is shooting up. Topped a few stems and they are bushing out pretty well. Lots of tops but no buds forming? ~ 52 days from germ.
Supposed to be about 70-75 days strains????
another thre weeks?

Are these autos ?
Grower's Choice, Northern Lights Auto and Tangerine Dream Auto. I grew out a TD before and it took a Loooong Time to finish. I wanted some low smell autos and picked a Sativa and an Indica. I got three each, two didn't germ, and I broke a NL seedling last round. SO I thought I'd finish the pack this round.
I switched the girls from 24/0 to 18/6 yesterday to se if the 'no dark' was confusing them.

I've got some Seedsman beans laying in reserve, NL, WW, and GSC Autos. After this round I'm going for NL and WW next.

Autos can be a slight gamble with the addition of ruderalis and sometimes act a bit wonky.
Some stall , stunt , mutate , have different structure ( even from same batch ) and sometimes need to be “ forced “ to flower .

Been there done that myself with a couple of breeder stock , I had to throw them straight into flower 12/12 after about week 5 ( which “ typically “ is when autos “ should “ sex out and begin preflower ).
So once it did not budge ... I forced it by going 12/12 .

Plus , if even that move doesn’t improve it much , I may cull it . Autos can fall anywhere between great , good or bust.

Topping autos CAN be an issue sometimes as it stresses a plant that does not have the time to recover - autos are hardwired to finish around 90 days whether you like it or not. So topping autos is generally not done but CAN be done to some strains ... I have a few times on more Sativa dominate strains since they grow bigger and seem to tolerate it better than Indy autos. Sometimes auto seed stock from breeders behave like photoperiod strains.

Flip it , see if the light change tricks the plant into thinking winter is fast on her heels and she needs to finish.

I'll give them a few days to see if they start blooming. The last TD was topped a bit and grew well but slowly, I chopped it at 16 weeks since it wasn't going to amber up.
The taste was nice but it isn't too powerful. Better than nothing but no zing.
I'm going to bitch at Growers Choice if they don't start shaping up soon.

Fuck it! I switched to 12/12 today lets see if the girls will bloom! Not happy with Growers Choice now. The NL is HUGE! If they do switch now she'll be a monster!

I topped both girls at node 5 a few weeks ago and they got bushy!
The NL is 30% taller than the last TD. The NL took over 3/4's of the screen!

I had hoped that I'd be harvesting today, but NOOOOOOO! The Northern Lights and the Tangerine Dream are still pistiless!

Not a bloom to be seen after almost eight weeks. NL is HUGE and still stretching! 12/12 and waiting?

Leave it ......

Let it flower as best as she can .... adding anymore stress can lead you to hermie town and you don’t want that. Keep an eye out for nanners and such . On next feeding introduce bloom Nutes as a way to continue the plant transition. Start about 1/2 strength and let her move naturally to bloom.

It may still stretch within the next two weeks so be aware. After that flowers will continue to form and build.

You can LST them with some light cotton twine and anchor to pvc frame to OPEN mid area .
And a little bottom cleanup if you like.

She is a beast now. I think I will defoliate a little she so bushy that a lot of buds will be shaded by her fan leaves. I doubt I'll stress her that much.
