So from beans local genetics in the early second week of veg. please take a look at the ladies and give me some insight as to the earliest i could put the ladies under the 600 hps, normally i wait till i see nodes alternating, however i was wondering if its possible to get em in a little earlier without adding stress to the situation. Secondly i tried to top the two older plants in an attempt to see results. Are they ok? , and are the leaves curling this way a genetic issue? I have them under 6k blue spectrum t-5's 54 watts per tier. Please let me know what you think any advice is accepted.

Like scrog said, those are way over watered and need a complete dry out...almost let them wilt before they get fed again! I would hold off on moving them and focus on making them happy and learn what they need!

Fem Seeds are garbage!!

Actually, I have never bought fem seeds. that being said the curling of the leaves may verywell be overwatering i asked the wife to help top the two that curled and she was WAY too overzealous in the act of trimming the poor babies(she's learning). Plan on doing the seperation prior to them going under the hps.

I had just barley watered them previous to the pics being taken so i apologize for the confusion. I do let them go almost dry 4inches into the soil as for the jiffy pots they dry out under those 6k t-5's overnight, I have no choice but water them every day while they reside in those jiffy pots. By the way this is all seed from indoor strains given to me by a family friend.

I have heard Sub say more then once that unlike clones, you can put your seedlings straight under a 1000w. So my guess is a 600 would be fine, IF they are doing well and healthy.

so really its only a matter of the timeframe in which there under the hps? for example, while there still youngish(2 weeks of veg from seed pop) keep them on a veg cycle till alternating nodes? or go ahead and 12/12 em from now till harvest?

Veg them for as long as it takes to get them as big as you want. Dont have to wait till nodes alternate. Some folks veg for 2 months, some go straight into 12/12 from seed. It all depends all what kind of yield you want. Longer veg times equal larger yield (ideally lol). But use a MH bulb in your 600w while vegging. They need more blue spectrum will they put on the growth.

Was wondering if i could possibly single pot each one in at least a 3-5 gallon pot each and just start the 12./12 under the hps now? It would be a new technique for me as i usually try one or two plants now i have 12. Anyone have any advice on using the 600hps distance pertaining to diff stages of growth?, ie the distance from the light to the babies? Can i keep it 18-20 inches plus? I can keep my tube pretty cool. Using a dr 120 tent. Hope to have many short fat ladies to stare at thru the plastic windows for 8 weeks lmao!
