Roseman and others using cfls for BP

It looks like in Rosemans super how to BP thread that he uses both soft white and daylight bulbs for veg. Is that what you all recommend? Right now I have 4 23 w daylights and 2 23 w soft whites going is that good for veg or should I do all daylights? Thanks.

Yeah thats fine for veg but you will need to use another spectrum of light once you reach the flower stage

But which is better? I have a choice.

I use a mix for the whole grow and keep adding more as they get bigger. I also try to keep a least one or two cfls above each plant 2 to 4 inches away at all time. Right now i have 4 cfls on each plant when they were smaller i had 2 and when im done ill have 6 over them. The more light you give them the faster theyll grow. This can be a bit overkill but it work good for me.
