roots organic soil

ok guys i have used ff ocean forest forever thought i try using roots soil i cut it with 50 50 perlite and idk whats happening to my plants i havent given any nutes at all but my plants seem like they are being burnt at the tips kinda like the soil is hot but i have heard ocean forest is alot hotter and i have never had it burn any of my plants nor seedlings if anyone has any suggestions or expericence with it i would greatly apprciate it
