These babies are CRANKIN along! had to trim today and topped all 3 of them again.trying to get the bottom branches to catch up to the tops.changed the light cycle to 16-8 a couple weeks ago and they are loving the extra dark time.started getting a little mag deficiency but i sprinkled some epsom salt right on the straw before i watered and that worked.received_759758781047605-1.jpg

question guys: i want to top feed before i switch to flower with d.t.e. rose&flower mix. Should i just sprinkle it on top of the straw, or should i get under the straw and work it into the soil. It could get a little messy but if i have to work it into the soil i will..20190202_141637.jpg

get it on the soil. you need to make contact with the microorganisms so they can start breaking it down. low till method. works great. you may want to check your soil pH. I am seeing some yellowish looking growth in the tops. I currently have a plant in roots at another location where I am helping a friend with a grow (we ran out of home made mix and he elected to go and buy the roots for the last plant, so we're trying it) and I'm noticing a similar thing happening with that plant. not sure if it was just out of nutrients or if the soil pH is changing. I'm taking my BlueLab soil probe there this coming week to see what is going on. I just topdressed and watered in a compost extract this past week. hoping to see improvements next time i go there.

20190209_180606.jpg made a compost tea with all this great stuff plus compost/wormcastings/rose&flower and i sprinkled some great white into the bag. Theyre lovin this shit! ;) the bubbles were super fine this time almost like a meringe pie. Got a pop off valve for my sprayer and gave the girls a whole gallon of the tea. They are sucking up the water now i had to double my watering amount and also water every day instead of every 2.

Update on the GSC grow: took the straw off and top fed with compost/wormcastings/rose&flower. 20190213_183017.jpgthese are by far the thickest stalks ive ever grown. My finished plants were never this big. Theyre like little mini trees lol.

@ShLUbY assured me that its always good to see things growing in your soil. Found this guy growing through the straw.

girls got lollipopped a couple days ago, its day 4 of flower and the tops are starting to get that light green color they get just before they stretch. This pheno stretches bigtime, theyre about 2 inches above the screen already.20190218_155900.jpg 20190218_155950.jpg

well, its tax time and i went out like a kid in a candy store and bought all kinds of goodies. A new pirahna 100 ro filter, pulse one environmental monitor, inkbird temp/humidity controller, fox farm big bloom, azomite, some pots and trays, and a mini microscope for looking at trichomes. Also ordered some killer strains and got a crap load of freebies. Im most geeked about the strawberry amnesia and that old school chronic, i havent had that since the dre days! lol inCollage_20190224_103239352.jpg 20190224_101203.jpg 20190224_101331.jpg Screenshot_2019-02-23-20-41-40.png

got my temp controller hooked up, bought a little heater and mounted a shelf for it to sit on. Its been super cold in my closet this winter and temps are fluctuating too much, down to 51° at one point so this should take care of my issue. set the heat to go on at 65° and off at 72°F20190227_172557.jpg 20190227_172504.jpg
