Roots Defying Gravity

One of my plants looks like a bush even tho its not suppose to. It had a bad start and now has sprouted 4 stems, which is a good thing. However, the pot is taller then it is wide and the roots have started to emerge through the soil. They appear to actually be growing upwards through the soil. I can just see little white "strings". What the hell is that!? :-? The other plant has one stem and is in a wide pot and other then slow growth and yellow brown spots on the 4 remaing bottom sets of leaves its doing fine. lol The top is green and growing.

I fertilize it once a week with diluted, not full concentrated, miracle gro. And right now i am watering the big one with diluted epsom salts to add magnesium. SO what do i do?? Thanks for the help

You can't really tell in these photos too well, the lighting wasn't good i guess, and the flash didn't show anything. The roots are growing through the soil in both plants. Are the roots looking for nutrients??

I will post pictures in next reply, it is not letting me attach any.

here we go, the roots are more noticeable then shown here

the roots will bury themselves, just make sure to bury the seedling taproot down next time!

Whats the seedling taproot? And these plants are about 2 months old, 6 inches high. Really slow growth, like i said before, rough start. So should i just leave them? And there is more then just one root showing through theres is A LOT. Thanks

Unless this strain was bred for reduced height I would consider these a learning experience.
