Rooting Time For Clones?

How long should you let a cutting root before putting it into the flowering cycle? I have found the info I need about lights, nutes Etc... But cant seem to find this. Thanks for any help you can give me.

from cutting anywhere between 7 to 14 or more days, until it has a well established root system
