I do not have room for mother plants and have to take my cuttings from my regular plants. What is the best rooting compound to use with those little black compost plugs?

I've tried a couple different ones..gels, powders. Had the best luck with Clonex gel and followup with Clonex solution.

i run a bubbler, and through my journeys have discovered grow nutes are the key. small amounts of grow(dyna-gro; foliage pro, silica, and superthrive) grow roots as fast as clonex.
