root rot questions

hey guys always trying to learn more about root rot while my mother is growing!

i have some questions:

is putting some great white in filtered water and then dipping the roots in it for 60 seconds an effective way to inoculate with beneficial bacteria? i really want to avoid putting things in my res that i can flush with (in this case just dip) instead.

how many times should i inoculate with great white before i start using hygrozyme? also can i use the dip method with hygrozyme when the time comes?

is it ok to spray down my roots with the showerhead with unfiltered tap water? the floranova im using stains my roots brown so i like to clean them off to make sure everything looks good.

lastly this is unrelated to root rot but is foliar spraying my leaves with filtered water ok? i just like to do this once every couple days for dramatic effect of seeing the water on the leaves. i dont adjust the ph so its probably somewhere in the 7s.

thanks in advance! here is a pic of my 3 week old SAGE than will be cloned to 12 bucket dwc some day (hopefully soon)

these are some good questions +rep, since i;m going through the exact same thing. i'm using the lucas formula, and that GH micro red shit makes my roots brown too. you dont seem concerned about the color, is it generally normal? tell me about this great white too b/c i've been using about a teaspoon of H202/gal. at one point just 5 days after a spray down and water change, my roots had so much slime I though it was going to make frikin ghosts. so i ordered an inline fan.

The great white is beneficial bacteria. I bought it as a safeguard against root disease and for root vigor.

As far as I know the brown roots are just stained from the nutes so yeah its not a big deal but I like them to be pearly white so I know for sure

Mine are in the seventies but i'm trying top get them in the low sixties if possible. No chiller yet just insulated buckets and ice packs

i have black buckets. i'm wondering if i need to insulate them. how did you guys insulate them, with ref tape?
