Root rot issue

Hey guys hope all is well.
I am in the middle of my first Hydro DWC run and I am encountering some issues. The plant is 22 days old and this Tuesday (2 days ago) I have started with the week 3 recommended feeding schedule by AN.

Backstory:
For the first 2 weeks I have been using the base nutes with the addition of Voodoo Juice and B-52. I had brownish stains on the roots, but after I discussed this topic with a friend and the guys from the grow stores, it was suggested it might be due to the B-52 additive. The first photo shows when roots were smaller, but still had stains on them. The picture with the brown on the edges of the bucket is last night, and the picture with no slime on the walls of the bucket is from this morning, so about 8hrs after res change. Plant photos are from this morning.
Air pump currently in use is part of the oxypot

Problem:
After the res change, it took it about 24hrs for slime to be on the walls of the bucket. Also as per AN feeding schedule Voodoo Juice should be omitted for week 3. I have changed the water res with a mix of base nutes + revive product. Obviously this was a bit of a panicky move by me, as I would have added Voodoo Juice in the first place. I will also be getting Hydroguard from a friend today and replacing my airpump.
The plant above the bucket is still looking good, but started to show some signs of problems.
I am asking for some opinions, as my friend already suggested I cut all the roots below the white line and somehow I feel there might be time to save them still. Before I could sniff up a beetroot smell, but this morning it was soury.
At this stage of the issue, based on your experience would you recommend Voodoo Juice and Hydroguard route or treating everything with H2O2?
I do not have a chiller, but could anyone please recommend a good one for the or some other less expensive way of keeping the water cool? My env temps dont go over 25C, but since I started smelling the beetroot smell I’ve dropped the ac to 22.
Really appreciate any kind of advice. Thanks and happy growing!

I can't advise, but It might help others to advise you if you could list:
PH
EC
Water tempertaure? - you say your environment temps dont go over 25c, I guess you mean air temperature?

My friend is also a DWC grower, and had the same problems using AN. He was using VooDoo Juice and Pirahna, and having the same issues. His last crop, didn't use either one, and didn't have the brown root rot issue. He's also got a chiller and kept his water around 65 degrees I believe. I personally would cut out the overpriced VooDoo juice, forget about Revive, Sensizyme, Overdrive, Final Flush and all that hyped stuff and hopefully you can get them to the finish line.

@futurebanjo ec and ph are not really relevant to this post, but sure EC is currently sitting at 1.6, ph was 5.9 when I measured this morning. Correct, by environment temp I mean the air temp in the tent. I have my 4 inch fan working 24/7 in the last 2 weeks. Will get a reader for the water temp today.
@Hollatchaboy I am assuming you are using those in order to prevent rot from forming, can you use it after it formed?
@Kgrim I see what you mean, but Voodoo Juce , Tarantula and Piranha I believe are good bacterias and they don’t cause the issues. What I believe is causing the issue is B-52, don’t have any proof or something like that just personal opinion. Would you be able to recommend the chiller he has?
@bazoomer kisses back

Sure you can. It really won't help damage done, but it'll help with new growth.

Thanks for confirming. Would it be a good idea to cut of the roots from the white line in the photo? Tbh doesnt sound like a good idea, buut what do I know

@rkymtnman thanks man.
Based off the suggestions I will shower my roots with a 3% peroxide and clean the container with it as well. Gonna let the roots sit in some water with peroxide as well. And then just do a mix with base nutes and hydroguard.

i would mix up a peroxide bath and take you whole net pot and dunk it in there many times. sometimes the rot will hide up in the netpot and the media too and just dipping the roots won't get rid of it all

good luck

You seem to be all over the map with what you're going to do. Hydrogen peroxide, beneficials, and the B52 isn't causing root rot but you don't need it.

Drop all the additives, use base nutrients with a couple drops of bleach, run sterile, and call it a day.

And stop listening to the guys at the grow store. Most know less than nothing about growing cannabis.

Understood. My rockwool cube is actually sitting at the bottom of the net, but will head your advice. I have investigated on other threads and noticed that people recommend about 2ml of 3% peroxide per liter of water?

Ime, bleach works better. That's just my opinion though.

@xtsho I am only trying to understand what is happening to my plant. I don’t feel that I am all over the map, I am only trying to clarify what needs to be clarified for other participants in this post. I am finishing with work soon and I am going for shopping, either bleach or H2O2 will be the treatment, still to decide on this. However I really do appreciate your feedback, as this is my first time in a situation like this and any feedback is priceless.

i'd guess it's the B52
Advanced Nutrients B-52 contains vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5 and B7, seaweed and kelp extracts and whole lot more to ensure amazing health and profuse flowering. The vitamins in B-52 are scientifically shown to boost vegetative growth and increase floral production at the times when your plants need them the most.

@rkymtnman You are greeig that it might have been due to B-52, if I am understanding it correctly? Would seaweed be considered as a living organism in this case?
Got some updates to share.
After a discussion with you awesome people here and a few more with some IRL growers I know, I have decided to cut off the roots. I have bought hydrogen peroxide, but I could only find the 6% bottle. I have used 1.5ml per liter of water, put an airstone and let the remainder of the roots chill in the water for 2hrs. The plant was really looking sad.. However when I have areived to change the water and put the roots in current feed levels, lowered it just a bit (EC at 1.5), 2ml voodoo juice and hydroguard. Tomorrow I will be getting some clonex as well.

During the hydrogen bath for the roots I have cleaned out the bucket using the remainder of the hydrogen
The first 2 photos are of the plant when I just got home, she got a bit bigger. 3rd photo is up to where I have cut the roots. 4th photo is after about an hour from the root separation, during the hydrogen bath, leaves cupping and extremely droopy. 5th photo is when I went to do the base nute mix and voodoo juice, the new growth perked up. Last image is a pic I just took, I can see that on a few fingers tips of the new growth I am getting some yellowish colour.
I will keep you updated on the progress! Thanks again for all the advice!

I wish I could tell you the chiller he has. I know it’s a commercial chiller, so it’s probably around $1200. He picked up an entire system, chiller, meters, nutrient dosing system, buckets, lines, etc for $300 from a guy who spent big money on it thinking he could just pop a seed, and POOF 3 months later have buds with no work.

there are alot of organics in that b52 was my point. which unless you have most everything else on point, can be troublesome in hydro.

and take it easy on nutes and light intensity while she is recuperating from root repairs
