hi, i could be tripping but ive got a problem with my plant, and i've tried everything else, i was wondering if a plant can get root mould? and if so how, if possible, you can get rid of it? the reason i think it could be mould is that some of the tiny exposed parts of the plant's roots at the top of the pot look like they have long tiny silvery spikes on them, hundreds of them, and it kind of looks like the kind of thing out often see in moulds?
or i guess it could just be natural root formation? like root hairs? just looks quite hardcore for root hairs, not that i'm an expert, but the fluffy/spiky things increase a small root's diameter by about 10-20 fold, sticking out from the middle of the tiny root... if u get what i mean.
i posted pics on this forum like a week or two ago, and noone could help with the problem so i'm looking to root mould. the thread was called plant sick 2 1/2 weeks old or something. dont have the pics or cam atm, or i'd show the 'mould' pics.
also, whats a good over the counter insecticide that i can find at my local supermarket? something not ridiculously toxic
