I have just replanted 5 stretched plants to achive 1" from soil level to 1st nova, and try to rectify things as they were getting on to 3" at just 4 days old.

When extracting from smaller pots, i expected more root mass than there is. All 5 have a tiny root area, about 1/5 the size of the actual stem before buried.

Is this normal? I only waterd them on thursday when planting and then on monday, with a small amount each time. All look healthy.

Thanks for reading guys:peace:

what is ur light cycle..?? usually the longer ur dark peroid within 12-24 hours makes for a nice root ball....the bigger the root ball the better bro....so fro ur problem with there not being a root ball cause u dont have enough light and ur probably runnign 24 hours of light... go down to 16/8 it wil make that ball better

Thing are all good since i transplanted.
When i did this i pretty much had the stem in my hand with hardly any root to hold soil. Very delicate operation.

All stretching stopped, and things ok now.

I will ask one question whilst im here: The stems of all 5 plants look as though they have a shiny layer, which is starting to peel on its own WTF?? Any info on what it is would be great :joint:
