would it be a good idea to put root hormone on the root sprouting out of my seedlings?

When is the best time to plant seedlings?
 
Right after the seed sprouts and just has a stem protruding from the seed casing. that might be the wrong word for it but I dont know spell check didn't bitch about it.
 
it's called a tap root, and the answer about rooting hormone is N O. rooting hormone is for cuttings. beanlings don't need it.

i don't wait to see a taproot; doing so can cause injury or death when you plant them.

i germ with paper towels, as soon as a bean cracks, before the tap root emerges, it goes in dirt. i only use clones in hydro.
