Root bound...will I be ok?

so I have two plants in coco that are about 20 days old. They have had droopy leaves that didn't go away no matter. How much I did or didn't feed them. It made me realize that they were in too small of a container and needed to be transplanted. Are they going to be ok or is it too late. It kooks like they were root bound in their current containers

Are you over-watering?
 
you are over watering, those are water roots. Water roots grow really fast and are nowhere as efficient and normal roots. NOT THAT THIS IS A PROBLEM right now, they are happy and white so you are good . Just gently massage them apart and replant into a bigger pot. Next time feel the weight of the container to get a feel for whither you should water or not. Keep on keeping on!

I heard with coco you are supposed to treat it like a hydroponic system and water it as often as possible. I am only watering once a day and water just to the point of runoff. Is this not correct?

In all my growing years I've never once seen a marijuana plant that was not rootbound in a container. cup, gallon, 10 gallon, and even a 35 gallon garbage can grow, roots were hanging out the bottom, twisted around and around, like, where are they supposed to go anyways? Eventually ALL container pots will be root bound in veg aye, regardless of container size.
I've grow little trees in root bound cups too. as long as you can supply the necessary resources at the required times roots twirling has never been an issue for me. dont buy the hype

actually if you use air pots or something similar your plants will NOT be root bound and will not form big circling roots but fine roots filling the entire pot. They are used by greenhouses for long term keeping of bushes and trees.
 
sounds about right. I dont use those, dont like them for the added humidity, increased water usage, messy drainage.
roots wont twirl in a container painted with latex/copper hydroxide either, many ways to prevent this if desired, never bothered me or my plants

I don't like growing without them, less medium use, can use smaller containers, added humidity a plus in winter and dry climes. Yeh, UB had a post years ago about the copper paint.
Pot can survive being root bound I've just dug up some Home Depot plants that didn't make it because they were rootbound.
