I hit everything with adonis 75 a week ago and now I'm seeing a bunch of these combing over the topsoil. Cant tell if its soil mites cleaning up the dead aphids, or actual root aphids themselves.

I figured it out. If anybody sees this thread they are soil mites.

Yeah. They are doing me a great service cleaning the root aphid carcasses out of the soil.

A pretty badass addition to soil. They also eat fungus gnat larvae, which live in the soil.

Ive always had them in my compost pile. Never really in my soil though. Good thing though. Also I believe i have phorid flies. I thought they were bad, but come to find out they are actual natural predators of the fire ant. Pretty cool that Ive got natural biological backup

How did you kill the root aphids?

Probably the Adonis that he mentioned.
I used Adonis when I had RA's and it was the only thing that worked after trying ALL the organic remedies.
The downside with using Imidacloprid is it makes your plants more attractive to spider mites
