Room or tent or both??

What's up riu. so i bought a tent 4x4x6.5. . . well it was too tall for my room/attic due to the A structured ceiling. . . i know my bad for the incomplete measurements . . . so now I'm trying to decide whether to put the tent in my bedroom and do the grow there. or just use the entire room without the tent . . . im not interested in obtaining another size tent. . . ive also considered using the tent in my bedroom for veg. n then using the room upstairs for flower or vice versa. . . I'm growing dwc buckets . . . i ve got 12 buckets only looking to use 8. . . I've got a 1k ballast i picked up from a buddy otw. and a few other things to pick up. . . but im stuck on the space as of now . any help would be much appreciated . . . I've attached pics of the room. . . that's my oversized tent laying sideways btw

DWC u are going to have issuses

u need a RDWC with a water chiller .................this will keep your roots alive even tho the black buckets are aborbing IR and heat from the 1000w hid


as for what to do that all depends on that u want to do
the room will stay cooler then a tent ............but a tent will allow u to use Co2

I would waterproof the floor in the attic and flower there. Put the veg tent in the bedroom. I've built a wall in a big enough room and had light leak proof and water proof flower and veg in there. I like my tent but it's nowhere near as strong for holding hoods as a ceiling

I've considered the rdwc idea. . . i just haven't found a diy step by step tutorial for idiot stoners yet. . . n I'm definitely not droppin my hard earned coin on one of those hella expensive kits. . . i reckon ill veg in the tent n flower upstairs in the room. . . never thought about the floor though... Any ideas on waterproofing??

RDWC is super simple ........it is just matter of linking and sealing the pipes in the bucket
here is a model to copy ........i plant to do this myself once the supply of soil is used up

u will just need one of those flexie hose things set it up so if does happen it flows out or into something large enough to hold all the water that is in the whole system


edit.....but u are in a attic this means hot temps ...........DWC does not like hot u will need a chiller so RDWC is the only choice otherwise u want DWC someplace with a cool stable temp .temps higher 78 the oxygen lvls in the root zone are crap and the roots start to die so they are not intake anything

u might even need ac in that area so look at polywrap or ir thermal blocking this way u can control what u are cooling
