Room Air and Security Questions

Hey guys and gals.

I'm currently planning out my room, and I have a few concerns.

The first thing is I live in a country where the police are allowed to use thermal imaging, now my room is in the basement but a small part is sticking out. Should I build a frame and insulate the walls to have less heat leakage? Also, since the room is in the basement it keeps relatively cool by itself.

Secondly, there is a window in the room, I am almost positive that is going to be my air in location. Should I build a shed around the window, obviously it will be one I can store stuff in to make it look legit, to make it look less conspicuous? I am also going to be putting an AC in, it can get pretty hot in the summer.

Unless you are going to have a larger setup running several 1k lights, I would not be too concerned about heat signature, as you should keep the space within reason as to not be visable to said heat detection equipment. I would always be concerned about air quality, carbon filters are a must to maintain a higher level of stealth. What are your lighting plans?

I don't have a concrete amount of lights set out. But I'd say long run probably 4 600w for flowering / veg, a 400w for mothers n a new fluorescent for clones. I will definitely have carbon filters, maybe even 2 for over kill, and possibly a few other things to mask the smell. Smell is my biggest concern.

so your scared of smell and IR F.L.I.R imaging systems lol haha.. dont worry bro just keep your mouth shut about it. Heres some advice anyways..

Smell: consider growing a low odor strain like white widow. its still super potent shit. use carbon filters with the right cfm fan. make an ozone generator. Achieve and maintain negative pressure at all times. use vapor barrier ( mylar works great and reflects light).

IR: lol dont worry but if you do go buy polytarp for your window. it blocks IR rays. they can only see the heat your venting out the windows or leaking out the room. you could exhaust the heat into another room beside it and cool the air and deodorize it before purging it outdoors.

Yup, I'm pretty paranoid at times, but I guess its not a horrible thing at times.

I will definitely use a low odor strain of whatever I grow, thanks for that idea, didn't even know they had them. I will also use all the other things, that is the plan.

For the IR, I will actually try to get some of that polytrap, and also vent the hot air into another room.
