Heard good things but i understand they excel in veg as opposed to flower..
Don't have a decent ones myself but for two plants why don't you go for a sp250 (equivalent), save cash (those bulb prices tho!?!)and heat. Just a thought.

what size is your space? MH/HPS will be less expensive than CMH. All around better too
being a rookie, as you say, may want to avoid LED's, they can sometimes add an extra layer of difficulty to the grow. CA deficiencies is common

LED can actually make cooling the grow much easier, firstly you won't be fighting as much heat and the lack of infrared spectrum means you need to run the canopy temp up in the mid 80's to achieve the proper leaf surface temperature for fast growth. The real reason to avoid LED is budget, if you can't afford a good LED then just stick with HID lighting.
