You know the guy talks a great game, but the office of the president does not have the power to dismantle the IRS. If he trys to do any of the things he says he's going to do, Congress will stop him.
really?what has Congress done to stop Bush and all the crap he's pulled?

true. but my opinion is Bush and his puppeteers couldn't get away with everything he's done unless they had most of the congress in their camp and in their pockets.

if that be the case, poor Ron Paul wont have a chance to bring over congress. he'll have to mobilize the people to his side in an unpresidented way.

'We the People' has new meaning to me these days.

I agree, and I think he's doing that.

Well he had a republican congress up until 12 months ago. Ron Paul will have a pissed off democratic congress. Not only that, the democratic congress won't be getting cush luncheons and weekend ski trips from lobbyists if they let Ron do what he wants to do.

I am also not pro-life, nor is our democratic congress, nor are most of the people in the US. He won't be able to get rid of the IRS because it would require the supreme court and congress on his side for that to happen.

Listen to what he is saying and look at the people who are against him. You have said on numerous occasions that the banks own this country, you have said numerous times that the president is basically a figurehead. You are right, and a republican president will not get this change.

I'll give him a chance, but if we elect Ron Paul we are looking at 4 years of political grandstanding by Congress.

I by no means have chosen who I will vote for. If Ron Pul somehow miraculously gets the republican nomination i may vote for him, If he runs as a third party and he is favoed amongst 3rd party candidates I will definitley give him my vote.

word......and some good points here, but if elected at least I won't have to worry about growing my own meds, and loosing friends and family in the middle east.
