Rompa Room Grow #1

Hey all,

Starting a journal of my grow... I have been lurking for a month or so and decided to post some pics and contribute back for all the help I've gotten from all you guys!! Thanks so much.

I have 4 CFL's (only 6,500 lumens )for now until I get more, fan for circulating air, and I can leave the door a little bit open so the closet exhausts itself basically.

I also have my nutrients for the veg process, everything has been going really smoothly I am very excited!

Later today I plan to construct a ghetto hood for my lights and probably move my whole set up to another closet since I have transplanted to bigger pots and they def need more room.

Any comments or suggestions are greatly appreciated!! Once again thanks for all the help too haha!

I went on vacation for thnxgiving and came back to a good 4-5" of growth!!

These things are starting to stank up my house!! I love it! haha

And what they look like to this date.. more pics coming soon. I have a aerogarden as well that I want to play around with, looks really fun so we'll see what happens in the future.

So after mokin' a few bowls I came up with a pretty cool idea. I found a huge turkey cooking tin pan and cut 4 holes in the top and got Y connectors so I doubled my light output once I get more lights. It hangs from the ceiling and can be easily adjusted to move up or down.

Yesterday I was looking at my aerogarden and realized if I used an old apple or ipod charger I could wire my aerogarden lamp hood up for more light! Haha I felt pretty smart at the time.. anyways check it out.

I've upgraded to a much bigger and better closet, with better ventilation, more light, more privacy! I can't wait till I flower... any suggestions on when I should start that process??

nothing wrong with the turkey pan. its like my last grow called ghetto buds. i used whatever it took to get what i wanted. good job and glg.

haha wrd.. ghetttto buds! Thanks for the comment, I having been waiting for some fellow growers to comment on all my dedicated work because I know everyone here knows that feeling!

Any ideas about the flowering with these...? I was thinking to keep them short and fat since I don't have that much height..

yeah man since you dont have much height, flowering them short might not be a bad idea. not sure how long you have been vegging. i am pretty new myself but they said some plants may double or triple in height in flower. i vegged mine for about 5 weeks because i wanted them to get a little taller so i could get a little more yeild out of them. mine were pretty short and didnt get too much taller in flowering. i know this may not be the case for all grows though. maybe some more people will chime in and give advice.

Start flowering them now if your going to use cfl's for flower. Trust me...take a look at my journal or my gallery and you will see the girl I flowered at 1.5 weeks old.
