Hi, after you have put seed in RockWool, and you start seeing a Few Roots on the bottom of the Cube do you just plant the whole cube in soil?
Also, If so, How deep do you plant it? Cover the top of the cube with soil or what?
Thanks
I'm on my first grow, Flood and Drain
I started my seeds in 1 1/2" rockwool starter cubes, when the seedlings showed roots at the bottom of the cube, I plugged the smaller cube into a larger rockwool cube.
Finished the grow in the larger cube.

I sure would have liked to see a picture before you plant into soil. I want to try this method of starting from seeds or cuttings in rockwool, and how the roots looks growing out of the cube. Did you ph the water that you soaked your cube in? I'm asking because the information that came with my rockwool says to ph the soaking water to 5.5. Did you have to water it, if so how and how often (misting or pour water on the cube). Thanks

I'll take a couple pics and post them here in a minute, and yes I did soak them for 24 hours first and also, I used ph6 water which is water at room temp set out for at least 24 hours or more to let any chlorine, etc etc dissipate from it.
The amount of times you water your rockwool in the early stages is relative to how often or fast it dries out. That depends on the temp and or humidity inside the dome or room.I think.

Early stages, I water as the cubes get light (dry)
Late veg, I watered 1 time a day
In flower stage, I've been watering 2 times during the light on cycle
