Rockwool question please help

Hi guys i need some tips on preparing rockwool. I know there's info online i can read (and i have) the problem is i see alot of conflicting information. My seeds have been in a paper towel for about 20 hours now and should be ready in the next day or 2. I need to know the proper way to prepare my rockwool bc these seeds are expensive and i don't want to fuck them up lol. Do i soak them for 24 hours? If so should i add nutes? What ph should my water be? Any and all help is very much appreciated

Adjust some water to around a pH 6-6.5 and soak your rock wool in it for a day.. you can soak your seeds for 24 hours if you want but if they are quality seeds you shouldn't need to. The paper towel method will work fine.. don't feed your spouts anything, not until they're are on their forth set of true leaves or when they start looking light in color..

Thanks for the reply. Good info. I have 3 bomb seeds berry bomb auto, 3 Dutch passion think different auto and 1 fast bud seeds blue dream' matic auto going in an aeroponic system. I was thinking about putting them in my aerogarden after germination then into the grow tent after they get a few nodes. Does that sound like a good idea or should i go straight into the tent?

I personally would go straight to the tent but either way should be fine

The only reason why i was considering the aerogarden is bc i don't think i should put seedlings straight under a 600 watt hps. Does that sound right?

Yeah a six is abit overkill for sprouts.. is it dimmable?

Well there you go, if you feel the aerogarden isn't doing it for ya, just turn your six down 50-75%..
