Rockwool into Hydroton?

When should i plant my newly sprouted seedlings into the hydroton? right now i have them under my light waiting to see some roots before i plant them into their new medium. wondering if there's an certain timing when i should place them in there of if i couldve just started them off in the hydroton before they even broke through the rockwool. Thanks!
PS. Growing in a DWC if that makes a diff

I would wait until you notice roots coming out of the bottom then put them in the net pots. Then have your water in your buckets touch the bottom of the nets until you see roots coming out of the net pots. Then lower the water level to about 3 inches below the bottom of the pot.
