Robot vacuum cleaners

After using a Samsung since Christmas, my verdict: Not bad, but still room for improvement.
Here's little Putzy:


Biggest complaint is that the damn thing gets stuck a lot. Some furniture is definitely *not* robot-friendly. Anything with a beveled edge that can become a ramp is a problem. Well, basically any edge that isn't perpendicular is going to confuse the little beastie.

He's stuck again.
This is really pitiful. WTF?

It's probably the edge on the dog bed. Putzy doesn't see it and can't figure out why he can't rotate.
Better sensors and software would go a long way.
In the future, they will probably be smart enough to process images and identify obstacles without having to bump into them.

Another complaint: Sometimes he gets lost and can't find his way back to the charger. It's really pitiful. He just wanders around until he runs out of juice.

Your floor is now clean

I got an early version. its ok, loud as a detroit secretary of state office, does its job. wish it emptied the tiny basket by itself, wish it lasted longer on one charge, wish it charged itself too. I know the new ones do .
I also have a "mop" robot. it rocks. back and forth, scrubs its ass off all day, makes no noise, only a wash cloth to change, reservoir to fill, cool as hell. broke first one, replaced it immediately. its guided by gps sat. cubes, placed in the rooms you want it to auto clean, too cool.
both can get stuck under low furniture.

this is similar to mine

but theres better ones, with big reservoirs, jets, dirt water canisters, etc....my car still doesnt fly, I have no holographic strippers, no cherry 2000, just these dumb robots, but this one is kinda wearing me down, acting all wet and slutty most of the time, coy little bitch.
