RO FILTER questions

Sure, plenty. I have this exact RO setup, and it's been great. I have it set up in my basement going into a 32 gallon holding tank with a float valve so it automatically fills, and I always have 32g's of RO on hand. It takes about 24 hours to refill it.
I did have an issue when I first set it up...My PPM's were a little higher than they should have been...Like around 40-50. I called them, they sent me out a new main filter, and it's been putting out water at 4 ppms ever since, for like 4 years now on the same filters!!
thanks for the answer, I have one question. Do you think either the output or input hose could be extended to like 20 feet? I have a 65Gal storage tank like you but it's a stones throw from my setup.
That float valve sounds awesome, I'm just going to run on a timer but if you can, explain it a little more?
Brother your ppm meter is off or something, that filter is way past due for a change! I mean it's obvious just by looking at it! Membrane should be changed every 2 years with just normal household use, everything else every 6 months including deionizer regardless if color has changed or not. I know you don't have di, that's just FYI for anyone that does...
@hermm check out the rd-106 from filters direct, excellent filter for the money. It's ro + di with 2 different outputs and I think a 4 gallon tank for ~$175 shipped. I know several people with one including myself and no complaints in 12+ years of hard use.

It's definitely way past due for a change, but as i said, still at 4 ppm's, and I have 3 meters!! If it ain't broke don't fix it, lol...Actually it's one of those things that I don't think of very often...I throw some pool shock in the res a few times a year....But I think I will order some new filters...I can safely say I got my moneys worth out of these!! My water is actually pretty great without purifying it...Like under 100 ppms from the artesian well.
