RO Filter installation

Hi I am in the process of installing an RO filter. I would like to install this unit a fair distance approximately ~8ft away from the source water line. My question is will this dramatically effect the ability of my RO unit to produce water at the rate its supposed too? Im assuming that it will, but I would like to hear that it wont

No, I won't, unless you have a major drop in volume/pressure in the 8 ft of water line you use to connect with.
