Hello everybody :)

Ive been looking around for strains with the potential of replacing some of my meds..

So i need something valium-like strain..
But preferably with little to none couchlock..
Meaning I am looking for the calming, relaxing non-anxiety high, without too much of the stone effect :)

What strains would you recommend?

Soma Seeds Lavender is exactly this and so is Magic Bud from Paradise...check em out.
Cheers mate I will..

This run ive gone with stuff like Big Bang http://www.pickandmixseeds.co.uk/products/green-house-big-bang
And many more.. (was about to start listing, but then i got lazy)
Decided to just do it the "hard" way and test multiple strains untill I find "The One" ;)

But for sure I will try to get my hands on Lavender and Magic Bud :)

Thanks for the tip. :)

Edit: Just stuffed them in the basket for next run :) Hot stuff, allready looking forward to next run ;)

Welcome aboard Weeded.

The Lavendar and Big Bang suggested above are great, Big Bang is advertised as being sold in Dutch pharmacies for anxiety

Strawberry Cough is a great strain for anxiety, I had a Dutch Passion cross that was poor in all other ways, but melted anxiety while leaving you clear headed. I've got some Super Strawberry Diesel by Elite now, much more potent and tasty plant, but Elite is out of business. Check out people at Pot Pimp (OGraskal) or Seedbay for a cross.

Kali Mist - Serious Seeds gives you a dreamy up-opiate high, care about nothing but still functional.

Bubblegum - Serious Seeds gives you a euphoric "everything is great!" crystal clear floating high.

Jillybean - Subcool is an
extremely up beat and happy buzz, great for depression and bad days.

Cotton Candy - Federation is pain relief without drowsiness, it would be a good strain to look into.

I would love to get my hands on some Jillybean from Subcool, but they are out of stock at Attitude. Does anyone know another very reputable seedbank that would deliver Jillybean to the USA?

I've ordered my TGA (Subcool & Co.; MZjill is the breeder of Jillybean) beans from Cannaseru/Bidzbay both times. I don't like their current order system but they're good people. Ship world wide.

Thanks Hobbes. I'm currently growing Jack Herer (just started flowering stage) and have never had anything but street junk before. I just learned a few months ago that there are different tasts. lol.

I can't wait to see if it really tasts so good, or if it is all hype. Just a couple more months I guess. :blsmoke:

Well there's nothing like going from the worst to the best in one step. Not many people make the jump to Jack Herer the first grow, can I ask what attracted you to the strain? Other than possibly the best buzz of all strains.

Jack Herer has 4 pheno so you'll have to pick the plant with the characteristics (flowering time, yield, potency, taste, type of high) that you like for your mother. How many females did you get out of the pack?

I think you'll be very happy.

Well, I've had a stash of shwag for about a year now. My supplier moved.

Anyway, finally decided to order some seeds, gettin real low on stash. I read a lot and ordered with both Nirvana and Attitude. Frankly, money was no object. I have not heard one bad thing about Sensi. Ordered Northern Light from Nirvana, Super Lemon Haze and Jack Herer from Attitude. Figured, I don't know how many times I am going to risk the online ordering thing (I am in USA).

I have grown twice before though (So I now qualify as an expert (lol)). Therefore, I only planted one seed of each, and the Autoflowering Roadrunner (freebie). How can I mess up the Roadrunner, right? :eyesmoke:

Great stuff mate, thanks a lot :)
I got the Big Bang this run actually, unfortunately she hermed on me so now he/she lives in my garden ;)
Pretty cold now, but it's still around out there with the El Nino that hermed aswell ;)

Bit sad as i was kind of exited to try out those two.. But I guess there is allways one more try :)

But inside I still have 7 different strains, so I assume I will have a much better idea of what to look for once ive tried them all :)

Too bad about the hermies - feminized seeds? Greenhouse claims 100% female, I don't know if that includes females gone hermie.

What other strains do you have? Single or fem?

Well bought all fem seeds this time..

White Rhino (Greenhouse)
Lemon Skunk (Greenhouse)
Super Lemon Haze (Greenhouse)
Big Bang (Greenhouse)
El Nino (Greenhouse)
Skunk #1 (Sensi)
Red Dragon (Barney's Farm)
Blue Cheese (Barney's Farm)
Blackjack (Nirvana)

Germination failed on the White Rhino and had a Blackjack fail allso..

The Big Bang got off to a rocky start, and the Blackjacks arrived a week later than the rest..

The El Nino was amazing tho, clearly faster growth than the others, and it was looking really really nice when i spotted those damn balls :(
So i don't have a clue why it hermed..
I guess the BB could have been the rocky start, but.. Did'nt seem THAT rocky tbh..

Atm im struggeling a bit with different needs in a few of the strains..
The Lemonskunk is really sensitive, and the SLH just can't seem to get enough..
(Last time i run this many different strains for sure) :D
But for the most part they are looking really nice tho :)
The Blackjack's are really pulling through btw.. Im quite impressed how well they are doing, when you take into account they had one week less veg..
Im glad i have a few seeds left of those for next grow :D
Wich will prolly be a while as im most likely to enter some treatment soonish, so I will have to bench the weeds for that duration I imagine...
So really enjoying this grow ;)
