back in Sept, I was looking for a HPS light, after looking around on ebay for quite some time i found shasta hydroponics which had good feedback and decent prices. i then found their online store (outside of ebay) and ordered a 400W HPS lamp and ballast. anyways almost 2 months later, probably 20-30 emails i still haven't been able to even get a hold of them.

i did some googling and i found a few other stories of people getting ripped off by them.

does anyone know what i can do to try and get my money back? it was paid with visa.

also, although right now their site ([FONT=&quot]Store Temporarily Closed for Maintenance) [/FONT]is down, they post a lot of things on Ebay, so be for-warned to make sure its not them when you are buying things there.

ps is this is the wrong section, mods please move it.. i didn't know where this would fit in.
 
Hey I make a living using ebay. did you pay with visa through paypal? no matter what happens you can get your money back. just open up a claim through your credit card company you will get your money back, thats a good reason with using credit card, same thing if anyone has your credit card # and make charges all you do is report the fraud and you get your money back. If you need help doing this just send me the word, ill be glad to help.
 
i didn't use paypal, it was direct through the website. does that matter?

does it matter that the payment was made so long ago?
 
Doesn't matter if you did not recieve your product and they charged your credit card then call your Credit card company.They will do something..
 
give visa some time and maybe theyll do something about it, although i dont know much about that. what i can advise is this, in the future - buy from HTGSupply.com

i think atleast 50% of the ppl on this site have ordered there, the guy is usually good about returning emails and ive read alot of posts where ppl say he will gladly do swaps/returns/etc... without any prob. plus the store is so cheap! you can get a 400watt hps for $119! go with htgsupply and hopefully this wont happen again

i saw on another thread you said your avatar is a higher being of sorts, thats a cool graphic :mrgreen: hope you get your $ back
