Right wing radical or terrorist...???

In a report made public today, the Department of Homeland Security warns that the recession and the election of President Obama are "fueling resurgence" of right-wing extremist groups that are seeking new recruits, especially returning veterans.
The intelligence assessment suggests that veterans make attractive recruits because of "combat skills and experience" that could boost the "violent capabilities" of radical right groups. Further, it says that any possible new restrictions on gun ownership, combined with vets' trouble reintegrating into their communities during a bad economy, "could lead to the potential emergence of terrorist groups or lone wolf extremists capable of carrying out violent attacks."
"The high volume of purchases and stockpiling of weapons and ammunition by right-wing extremists in anticipation of restrictions and bans in some parts of the country continue to be a primary concern to law enforcement," the report states.

Oh yeah right wing extremists are buying all these millions of new guns up, HA. right wing "extremists" are already armed they don't need to buy anything. These gun sales are to people who are just starting to figure this stuff out.

Big Gov is worried that the citizens are going to come into town looking for some accountibility. If it gets down to that, none of them are safe and they know it.

Best to call everyone "extremists" so they have an acceptable excuse for rounding them all up.

Imagine the uproar if Dubya's administration had released an official government report warning Americans against a rising threat from Left Wing extremists? Can you say Politics of Fear? Can you say Fascist? Dictator? Hitler? The previous President could not break wind without being labeled with all those terms any day of the week.

I fit several of the categories listed in the report. Imagine how surprised I was to learn I am now an Enemy of the State.

Okay... I was not that surprised. :fire:

Also, +1. If the neo-cons AND LIBS both had their way, they'd have shredded up the Bill of Rights a long time ago. Charlton Heston is my hero.

One thing you can say about McVey ... we haven't had a Ruby Ridge or a Waco since. Seems as though old Timmy got someone's attention. bongsmilie

That very well may be, but I do think the outcomes of both Waco and Ruby Ridge is the reason we havent seen anything like them since. Regardless, blowing up a building with a daycare in it is beyond f'ed up no matter what the reason is.

The party of hate? OMG, I've heard everything now. Liberals claim to love this country as much as anyone else, but if that's true, why do they insist on trying to CHANGE everything about it? The true essence of the meaning of conservative is a belief that our founding principles and founding fathers knew what the fuck they were doing when they founded this country, and didn't want "loose interpretations" of core principles and freedoms fucked around with! Have a lovely evening sir. :peace:

This link is actually worth the time to read as many people aren't even clear on what definition being a liberal or conservative really means. It goes into very good detail as to the differences. I highly recommend it.

You're right, the republican party is full of of love and compassion. I can definitely feel the love Limbaugh projects through his OxyContin spewing fests or Palins 'palling around with terrorists' rants.

You do realize Bush changed this country more than any president in modern history, don't you?

Exactly! So what happened to the republican party to make them sway so far away from this ideology??

Blah, blah, blah. Hyperbole and grandstanding. Stick to actual points and back them up with facts, otherwise debating is a waste of time.

You're tangenting again. Quote me and argue your point(s) and don't forget to leave the opinion at the door, and back them up with fact please. Thanks.

I wish I could answer that. I think the reason that each person in the Senate or House votes the way they do or more importantly, NEGLECTS TO OPPOSE varies, but one thing is certain, people true to their conservative principles saw through their bullshit and has as much a part in telling them to fuck off as any liberal or even independent. The most frustrating part is, that both sides seem to have their own agenda, and the voice of the people is being ignored. This country really needs a viable third party OR (and this would be much easier), people to pay better fucking attention to politics at not just their local level, but at the state and federal levels too! But see, the more people have to spend time "working off the debt" of our country the less likely they'll be able to spend time doing any of that, which seems to be the goal of both sides. Fuck em, Ron Paul FTW!!:cuss:

I don't understand how you can be glib about this.
Shelly Bland died that day. her daughter graduated from high school this year...without her mom.
She was 25 years of age at the time of her death.

Mrs. Bland was a 1987 graduate of Tuttle High School, Tuttle, Oklahoma, and attended the University of Central Oklahoma from 1988 to 1989. She had been employed by DynCorp since April 1994. She is survived by her husband, Gary Bland; a four year old daughter, Jordan Elizabeth Turner Bland, a sister, Kimberly Turner; and her parents, Mike and Peggy Turner. The family has established a trust fund in Mrs. Bland's memory.

This is more racist and ignorant than your video, including the last guy. So it effectively cancels your opinion out.

i wonder what will happen when the "right wing extremists" which i am a proud part of start protesting while armed...
The million gun march is already getting organized i think for aug or sept. imagine 10,000 people marching across the bridge to DC for a peacefull protest while all armed.
