Right time to top your plant ? ..

Im thinking of topping one of my plants, just wondered when the best time to top a plant is ???

my plants are in early veg stage atm, (i have pics of them on my grow journal atm)

I'm no expert, but I believe most ppl top at the 4th or 5th node.

i toped mine above the 4th node but let the plant grow out 7 nodes, so basicly cutting off a weeks worth of growth. then once they recovered i cut off the first two branches or first nodes branches, and just let the 6 branches i had left turn into tops. worked out great.

Top it whenever you feel like it. If you think it'll stay healthy at two or three nodes, then do it. But like the others said, usually after the 4th or 5th node is the safest, earliest way.

IF you don't want to take off too much, just pinch the newest growth, you don't need to chop off 5 inches of your plant.
