REZN'S First Grow Rubbermaid Style!

Well after reading through the forums doing research on how to grow in general, I found that the stealthy rubbermaid grow box would be best in my own apartment situation. I have a wife that does not smoke and that is cool with me doing my own thing here but wanted to keep it stealthy and hidden from friends and family. So to sum it up, This is my first grow ever. I am using some really good "bagseed" that i came across. It is has a very skunky aroma and is light green in color which made me put aside the seeds i came across and save some money to start my own. I germinated the seeds with the paper towel method and placed on top of my computer router/modem. I dont have pics of that but 3 of the 4 sprouted and were planted into small drinking cups. After about 4-5 days they started to come up out of the soil. Weird becouse it was superbowl sunday and my team the
GIANTS...HEHEHE, did their thing and came home with a victory

For right now and most of the growth i am using Fox Farm organic soil and for nutes Cornucopia Plus Formula X2 one step. I have a buddy of mine who works at the hydroponics shop local and have had alot of sucess with this. I am using 6 CFL's in the rubbermaid box, 4 23w Daylight and 2 23w Soft through my veg. process. During flowering i will most likely move to 4 Soft, 2 Day. As of right now the temp is between 76-83 F with no signs of any problems at all.

They are at the second week since sprouting and the pics are listed below. Everything is going smooth for now and i will keep you all updated as these babies grow. Ofcourse i do know there is a chance of males coming this way but my fingers are crossed and other seedlings are on the way if all else fails....

Well i wanted to give a quick pic update on the grow. So far so good, Seems like they grow more each day i look at them! This is day 17 since sprouting. Please feel free to post any comments or questions in my journal anytime.....

Looks good so far man. Hopefully that skunky smell won't get bad when they get bigger otherwise it may be hard to keep them a secret.

Nice little setup bro. Maybe you can confince the wife to let you buy a cabinet. It would take up that same corner and you could get them approximately 4 feet tall!! All you have to do is lock the cabinet. Stealthx10.

Well looks like eeverything is going well still with temps maintained and plants are looking healthy. Here are some updated pics at day 20 Veg....

I'm trying this grow out in the rubbermaid box first then maybe the next grow i will move to a 45 gallon box. So far they have been loving their home but thanks for the advise~

Here is just a quick update after a good feeding.... Still smooth rolling~

Well its been about a week or so since the last update, I took clones from each plant and topped them all last week. They are still doing great and are now into day two of flowering.... (I am trying to keep them short due to space). So far i have signs of two female plants. The other one has not shown any signs yet but ill give it a little time. Please if you can look at the pics and verify that these are females that would be great!!! Ill let these babies go on for a while and update this thread soon. Thanks all for viewing my journal.

Thank you, I will keep you all updated on their progress. Just started to add bloom nutes and doing very well~

I like this stealth rubbermaid box style. I think I'll try to come up with something that suits my needs that is similar.

looking good .really want to try the rubber maid style myself shouldn't you start flowering soon before they get too big?

Someone chime in here, but could this be an autoflowering strain? Doesn't it take alot more than 2 days to show sex? I'm guessing it started to flower before he went 12/12. Just my thoughts.

Well just wanted to give you a update on how things are going... So far they are doing very well and everything is going smooth. The growth and white hairs are filling in lovely. There are 2 females so far and the last one i have the shorty of the 3 has not shown any signs at all yet. Still i will give it a bit more time and check for anything. The last pic is the shortest and may be male.... No sign of balls yet.

The third and fourth pic definately show the fem hairs----if you have any boys they should be showing balls by now as well.

yeah thats really odd to me too.. it took my plants over a week to show sex but they are female and i guess thats all that matters good luck with your grow

Ok so its been a few weeks and i havent posted but here is a update on these 3 females . Everything is still going smooth, I had to remove the lower half of the rubbermaid box becouse of room issues, so as of now im using the top half for lighting and spectrum. All three have begun to flower and so far no issues. Here are some pics, Enjoy~
