Rez Circulation question +rep

i recently flushed all my plants due to sodium build up, I did a flush with clearx then a flush with plain R.O water. Next, I changed out the rez water to fresh R.O with nothing added except hygromyze. I use a drip system that top feeds my plants in the hydroton and i water my coco by hand. My question is since I am flushing should I allow the water to recycle back into the rez or have the a seperate bucket catching all the water that comes out of the tray and not allow it to enter the clean rez? or is it ok to just recycle the water.

If your flushing to get rid of progressive salt build up why would you want to return this back to your system. Is it possible to have one of your drip feeders plug up due to sediments in the system? F&D systems are designed to operate with some sediment but I might be wrong because I haven't seen your system but I think it might be dependant on being sediment free.

thats what i was thinking why have the salkts return back into the system, but in one hour the rez droped 2 inches from the line i put which means by morning it will be empty i dont have the time to be refilling that much..

most offten with coco and hydroton it depends on the nutes u use if yo can recyle the runoff/waste water, with canna coco ab you run to waste but with canna aqua you can ruuse it so read the nute instructions or let us know your brand and shcedule and othr details we can help more.

I assume when you are flushing you run to waste for sure.

If you are using drippers I would turn the pump on and let the water run into a bucket for about an Hour... Then discard the water and resume the grow... If there is sodium in rez then there is certainly build up in your lines and drippers....
