im trying to clone some cuttings from a flowering plant. these cuttings are under 12 hr lighting and are being cloned in just water. theyre nice and green but its been about 7 days now and still no root formation. should i switch them to 18/6? to promote root growth and stop formation of the buds to revegg?

Even better would be 24/0 with some mild lights and be mindful to not use a clear container as this will inhibit root formation. Do you have them under some sort of canopy or dome to help promote high humidity?

roots will grow in clear containers... have u proved they do not? its bad takeing clones in flower stage because its a hole different process if the clone does root it will take a month for it 2 actually start growing barnches outa the bud as 2 cloning a flower and 2 keep it flowering is a question i could not anser. 24 hour light will incress root production becuase of the heat and so forth a cutting isnt a plant until its actually rooted and and growing. im sure nit could use more then 12 hours haha

You're going to want those cuttings under light 24 hours a day for around a week with high humidity and you will want to be sure that it isn't too hot either (75 degrees is fine)... GL.
