Results from my micro hydro SOG

I have a small, 1 sqft hydro grow box. Normally I grow a single flat plant.

This is a test run of a 5 plant mini SOG. I grew 5 different plants from seed and attempted to prune and LST the shit out of them in order to max out my 1+ cubic feet. I'm quite happy with the results so far.

The watering is fully automatic. No soil, no coco, just a few porcelain cups and some clay pebbles.

While my little automated system works, I'm not too happy with the yield this time around. Next time I need to build some LST armature to simplify the training. I also should have vegged a couple of weeks longer..... impatience.

Time to tinker a bit more and then start my next run....

I'm kicking myself for not taking more photos this run.....

Here are a couple more shots, including a front shot of my prototype micro SOG apparatus. Visually it's not my best work but it's only a prototype. Now that I know this approach works I can work on the aesthetics in future runs.

The final harvest was just about 2 ounces of beautiful, purple, sticky bud. That's not too bad for just under 2 cubic feet of grow space. However, it blows compared to my last run of nearly 6oz. I know exactly where I fucked up.....

I have another 4 plant microSOG that needs maybe another week of vegging before entering this micro flower chamber. I replaced the ugly yellow tub with a much nicer metal pan. It still lacks the LST supports of my previous runs, hopefully that doesn't cripple my yield again.

My plants live birth to death in 2" netcups. In the config below the netcups are held up in porcelain cups. All 5 cups sit in an ugly plastic, temporary yellow tub.

Regardless of yield....those are beautiful....i love these micro grows...fuckin cool as hell...cant wait to see more
