Reservoir Change Timing

First time grower here, I have three one week seedlings in a 30 gal common DWC reservoir. I just added nutes to only 80 ppm yesterday (RO water) as the taproots were extending down into the reservoir.

I know recommended reservoir changes are every 7 to 10 days. My question is can I go longer during the earlier stages of the grow when nute levels are low and plants are small.? Also at what point should I start Hydroguard addition. I am using Lotus nutrients.

Thanks. Plants are doing good, developing third node. I am now at 300 ppm (0.6 EC).

I discovered that the Hydroguard that I bought from Amazon is 2 years and 1 month past the manufacturing date on the bottle, so may not be good. I have a new bottle coming tomorrow and plan on a full reservoir change and increase in ppm to 400.

This is really fun!

next time buy Southern Ag Garden Friendly Fungicide. cheaper and a million x more concentrated
