yes I love them. I use the large 62% in 1/2g mason jars. I'll never jar w/o them now.

hey everyone,
what do you guys think about the 72 hours dark period before harvest? is it a myth? do you guys do it yourselves? like everything else on the internet, in general, and in cannabis cultivation specifically, i cant find a definitive answer....

Hey nice little grow if you have not tried the Kosher it is bomb really excellent when cured right,i have gown this for a couple of years indoor and out and it is a favorite of everyone.Good job and enjoy!

never tried the kk before, but heard a lot of good things about it so as soon as i landed in Amsterdam, went straight to DNA genetics store to pick up some seeds.
apart for the kk, i also got these strains: Purple OG #18, Tangie, LA Woman and Training Day (Freebie, yay)
im thinking the Tangie might be a bit too tall to grow in a small tent like mine, so ill probably go with the Purple OG #18 for my next grow as soon as i harvest the kk's.
ever tried any of these?

Ive heard the light deprivation at the end of flower is mostly strain dependent. I do remember seeing a study done where they shoved the plant in the dark for 12, 24, 36, and 48 hours. Some plants had a resin content increase of like 15% (? - don't quote me lol) and some actually decreased in quality. I just did this with 2 plants, an AK 47 and a blue dream, it didn't really seem to work for the bluedream, but the AK is more flavorful than last round, which could be for a lot of different reasons though.

i cut the light on this skywalker 48 hrs prior to harvest next harvest ill not cut the light to see if there is a difference or not skywalker is a stretchy one as well

you've joined on time.
it's been 4 days since the harvest. i havent done much trimming, just plucked the remaining fan leaves, and hung the plants to dry inside the tent. i will complete the trimming before placing them in the mason jars and boveda packs i've prepared.
here are the skeletons (fishyhead, this one is for you... the mainlining signature)
here are some pics i took blindly, so they might not be all that great.
will post some better pics, along with magnified bud close-up after i trim in a could of days.
in the meantime, here's what's going on now.

it's been 4 days since the harvest. i havent done much trimming, just plucked the remaining fan leaves, and hung the plants to dry inside the tent. i will complete the trimming before placing them in the mason jars and boveda packs i've prepared.

I love the "fluxing pic". That's the newest name for mainlining.
I'm not one that prefers to trim after dry. I always full trim, then rack dry. I think trimming dry is a bigger pain. Did you scope the trichs? Happy with the harvest and result?

indeed i did very few clear ones, mostly cloudy with about 25% abmer.
bottom line is, i took a couple of samples from the lower parts of the plants that fell off during the hanging, quick dried them, and had a little taste with a couple of my friends. after 2 bong hits, we were just sitting there laughing our asses off... we all agree that it tops the last grow, and in general, one of the best smokes we've had in years.
so quality-wise, i couldnt be happier, as for the quantity, ill check the total dry weight before jaring them, but i can already notice a significant loss of weight in the past 4-5 days since drying started (makes sense, doesnt it?!)
as for the trimming, last time, i trimmed everything as soon as i cut them down, this time i decided to try something else, but i can see why it would be messier to do with dry leaves.... oh well...

i bend plants over & tie them useng bamboo skewers i never put a name on it i also would like to try a modified tomato cage
