I am on my first grow and it is going better than I expected at this point. I have learned a valuable lesson I would like to pass on to new growers. No one can grow your plants for you. You have to grow them yourselves. If you want to be successful "YOU HAVE TO DO THE LEG WORK BEFORE GERMINATING YOUR FIRST SEED." Researching and learning basic grow skills will go a long way. There is endless knowledge available on the internet. Arm yourself before you germinate that first seed. Don't expect everyone else to grow your plant for you.
Am I saying don't ask questions?........NO......I am merely saying allot of the early problems that are frequently experienced can be eliminated before they even start by starting your grow correctly in the beginning.
There is no substitute for knowledge. If you research, take notes and apply techniques that are already proven to work well on day one of your grow; will dramatically reduce the risk of grow problems. I ask questions all the time but most of the time I ask questions before I experience problems.
Proper germination, soil, air circulation, lighting, watering and observation can lead too allot less panic and plant health issues.
I have also learned a ton of valuable knowledge on here from folks that have "been there done that."
I have made mistakes in my grow. I have done things during my grow that others said was not a good idea. And I am sure I will continue to make mistakes as I go through the learning curve.
Bottom line is it is not in your best interest to just throw seeds into a pot and expect them to grow. Research, ask question and formulate a basic grow plan before you germinate that first seed. You will thank yourself later.
