Research Done, First Grow Checklist. HELP NEEDED <3

Im trying to think of everything and anything Ill need to start my first grow (waiting to move first). I've been reading and researching for a few months now and Im ready to get my feet wet.

Research done? lol Hopefully you will find this subject an endless opportunity to do research for the rest of your life. Like a lot of things you have to learn a lot before you can even really start learning. There is no end to how much you can know.

The wattage will also produce heat even if you're dealing with low numbers. My 250w light gets my room above 100 degrees when I'm gone for four+ hours. But this is slightly on purpose right now.. Stress tests and what not.

I use distilled water.. R/O will work but is not as pure if I'm correct. Something about the different filtration methods..

You can get similar lumens in a smaller area with a smaller light vs having to keep your plants further away from a high wattage hott beast. Pick your light for your grow area.

My grow area is just a huge closet thats getting mylar'd. Ill have the hydro system and probably an addition 4-6 soil attempts. I thought a 1000w would be appropriate. Considering I can turn the lumens down via my fancy digital ballast? xD Good/bad?

You could make it with a 600 but if you have the money go for the 1000.. just have proper ventilation, think about cool tubes.

Ive got the money for the 1000w and a 6" LumenAire (or something to that effect) reflector. In-line duct fan hooked up to the reflector with a mini AC unit running in the room to keep temps down, pro yes/no?
