Did you ever find any information?

Ive been looking into http://prop215docprep.com/
And everything seems to be legit. Your basically purchasing a Non Profit Organization to start your collective. You will also receive a sellers permit and EIN number.

Let me know what youve encountered so far because im also looking at opening a delivery service in the town i live in. Thanks

In ca I don't think you can open up a normal delivery service yet. I believe most of the people over here are delivering for a collective. There is a free class the state gives to tell you what you need for your collective and where to find and file the papers.

Got it. I contacted the city i lived in and they stated no go on delivery service. They also attached all of the rules for me. So the 10 delivery services here in town are straight up running their operation illegally? We only have 2 store fronts so i know their not running delivery for one of those collectives.

Any one can start a non profit collective. I dont think any city is going to tell you go ahead and deliver weed. But if you go the non profit route youll get a tax id so u can pay taxes.

You will not be a weed business. You will be a non profit aimed at helping people. You can pay yourself and your employees; but nothing crazy. Theyll audit you quick because youre on the fringe of legal. Its legal through that state; so if you dont make waves or throw your new money in the air and make it rain they will probably let you be as long as you pay your taxes. Ive never had a problem.

But i think a lot is going to change in december after everybody votes. I think youll be able to just be a normal business and not have to do the non profit route. In my area they said if you have receipts and or paper work showing you were active before sept 1 2016 youll get priority when it comes to permits or licensing.

Thats why i created the non profit organization was to show i was in compliance before sept 1....even if a cop showed up at my front door to close OP it would be a $1,000 fine for everyday I dont shutdown. Do you use credit card swipers or strictly cash? A few delivery services take credit and it seems that the convinence of that is really driving their business.
