Can anyone show or link to pics of dry buds grown using these cobs?
(Preferably a legit OG strain).

I have spent way too much time obsessing over every detail of this build before starting, but I've never even witnessed the buds that can be produced.

I'm feeling very doubtful that any bud I've ever loved has been grown under LED. I've joined so many collectives in LA, best bud on planet Earth (I've smoked everywhere), but I bet none of it is LED grown.
I will be very happy to be wrong about this.

So you spent time thinking about building something, but never did any research to see if it works? Lots of pics of plants grown under the CXA's/ CXB's on this site.
I didn't say plants.

I said "dry buds".

VERY big difference.

Whatever your favorite buds are, add some potency and flavor and that is how they would turn out under LED. See greengenes HPS vs LED side by side with steep hill labs testing

This is a Tangerine Power lady that did not make the cut because it was not the dankest sister, but a good example of 3000K CXA grown and very stinky anyway.

These were the keepers. The first one was one of the strongest and most unique citrus flavor I have come across so far. Potency is equal to or greater than and OG keeper I have, but I love the OGs too.

I have some 3000K CXB3590s in action at 23W ea, but the ladies are only 4 weeks along. They are basically the same thing as the CXA3070 except higher efficiency. Not sure if dry bud pics will help but will get some.

CXB3590 3K at 4 weeks

EMDOG fem (B Real OG "Crippy" X Chem4 fem cross). Lots of smaller dense nugs, very hard, dense frosty nugs but not a real stinker so probably wont run this one again. One of the EMDOG sisters smells like vanilla liquor, kahlua or whiskey barrel type smell.

Tangerine Power, the bigger one pictured in the other post but on the scale not the highest yielding TanP. Smell on this one reminds me of turkey and gravy.

The cool thing about growing with LEDs, they finish on time 56-60 days and very few sloppy finishes. I think that is due to lower canopy temps and lack of IR compared with HID

All those collectives are shyt. I haven't been to one that meets my standards of quality.

Nice bud.
"All"?
Would you mind naming some of the collectives you've visited here? Also, which strains did you select? I'm very curious about whether or not I know of them and I'd like to take a look at their current menus.
Next time youre here you can PM me and I will let you know where to go. You're wrong on this one and once this is proven to you I think it will be so conclusive to you that you will admit it ;)

i think soon we could have outdoor guerilla-indoor-growing capsules, like solar powered, they charge batteries, and those batteries are running high efficiency led's & controlled by arduino..
because this all seems so powerfull, like in future we will grow food with this, cuz it's cheaper and available all season.

Combo CXA/B 3590 day 33 of flower and FUCK Mars lights
It will be nice to see how these turn out.

I've had a couple of runs under a pair of A51 sgs160's in a 32"x32" tent and only the very top portion of the tops (less than golf ball) had the kind of density I always want.

350.00 an oz for "top shelf"?. I saw today a dispensary here in the O.C. Charging over 400. An oz. it was in Santa Ana and in the reviews people were complaining there were seeds in the buds, lol. Screw that, grow ur own.
Jezus 400.

Yes, grow your own...
But in the meantime find a new spot! There are nearly endless options in LA/OC. If I ever found seeds (plural) I would not be back.
Honestly, I can't even recall the last time I've been disappointed by any of the collectives I visit. The latest one I have joined is so bomb that I even offered to volunteer some time in their gardens (to get knowledge). They were quickly like, "ahh, yeah, thanks but no thanks, got it covered."

Ill have some dried pics of Critical Kush under CXB3070's in about 2 weeks. Harvest time is looking like next weekend! So far, I am liking what I see.

And I would agree with SupraSPL about finishes. I am looking at about 56 days to finish completely and the lower buds are much further along than with HPS. They are not only more dense, but maturity is much closer to the top buds than it has been with HPS.

The dispensary I used to go to did have some pretty good quality at times but also some hit or miss. For me the price point is too high to continually pay. You don't know under what conditions it was grown. What chemicals were used, pesticides?. Is it really what they say it is ?. Was it even cured?. I'm going to be retiring in hopefully within a couple years so the cost factor is why I'll be growing my own. That and led grown is good quality I've discovered.
