1) Someone explain to me how the reputation works. I notice that I currently have 2 blocks/squares. Some members have gray squares while others have gray and red. What's the deal?

2) When someone leave a good rep for me, I have no idea who it is so I couldn't give them + rep even if I wanted to. Am I missing something?

those little grey scales in the top left corner of a persons post is the rep icon. click on tis wen you have read something that you feel requires a special thank you. if someone goes out of their way to help you. if they post some very informative info. if you just like their kitty. it shouldn't be a you gave me i give you type thing.

I agree it shouldn't be an I give you you give me thing either butI do think it would be nice to know who and why these people are giving me a + remark.

i was only joking. it doesnt really mean too much imho.. words speak louder than little grey boxes.

people can leave comments though, unless they favour a stealth approach

Click My Rollitup ( not mine, but yours) and go to the very bottom, will tell you the most recent rep you have received as well as who gave it to you.Also I think Fdd meant the top right on the post is where the sacle is, or maybe my computer is backwards : ) Grow on growers : )

also; this is a pet peev of mine...

when you rep someone, unless you just don't want them to know who you are, LEAVE A MESSAGE AND NAME IN THE MESSAGE BOX!!! this is the only way to know who thinks what as far as rep goes. if you leave a message and no name, there's no way to tell who repped you. it's just polite, imo.

please guys, start doing this. why hide if your positive repping?
