Hello everyone. New to the forum and wanted to share something that worked great for me. I am into my 6th day of my new crop. I germinated my seeds last Saturday and 6 days later I have 10, 4-5" tall seedlings. The day I put the seeds in soil which was Tuesday, I placed the pots on a electric heat rock for reptiles. I was amazed at the growth spurt that they achieved! I have done the same process before as far as germination technique and this process doubled the growth rate in comparison to past plantings. It doesn't get real hot but made the soil temp a comfy one for the new growth.
Has anyone every done this before or is there any input from others on the soil temperature during this phase of growth.
Good to be part of your forum and I am sure I will be posting more soon. Thanks for all the info I have read so far. Lot's of great tips!
