Replacing 600 watt hps

Hey guys im looking to replace my 600 watt hps with leds. What would i go for and can it be done on 300 budget. Im new to all this led stuff haha. Thanks

My space is 4x4. What sort of cobs do you think? Cree? Citizen?

luminus cxm22 are the best deal going

9@50W each in that space will do you very well

hlg 480-48A is a good fit

This setup with 6 Vero29 D's on an HLG-480HC2100A would put you right around 465W, caveat is it's $410 which is significantly more than your $300 budget.

With an angled aluminum frame you'd be looking at closer to $450, but it would brighten the shit out of your growroom

Thanks guys appreciate all your feedback. Still unsure as to what led to go for. I have time to research and get some knowledge of the different leds before i actually plan on buying them

Smart approach. I'm a big amateur in the lighting department when compared to people like @CobKits perusing these forums. Don't hesitate to ask questions because there are some pretty helpful people around.
