Repelling bugs in wooded area?

I'm thinking about moving her to a wooded area (not the woods but a lot of plantlife there) but I know there are going to be many bugs, is there any way to repel bugs in their natural habitat? lol is it just a terrible idea in general? Any organic or natural ways to repel bugs? And would they completely destroy her in a wooded area?

Well I have grown in wooded areas and bugs were not a problem but it depends on the bug season that year and your location. Try it I really don't think its gonna be a big problem. THC is its own bug repellant for many bugs, although if you have a problem cut off the bottom branches so bugs cant climb up the plant, if you have slugs put a bowl of beer near the plant. Slugs love beer and will go into the beer and drown. If nothing works get some bug netting and tent the pant in with it. I think you should be fine though

Thank you for the reply, I was thinking about making like a fort out of window screens so she can get still get light and stay safe. As long as I check up at least once a day she should be fine, right?

I think simple mosquito netting would be easier. But yeah that could work i guess, although it might stand out and attract attention, I made a small plastic cover for my plants once and law enforcement spotted it real quick and destroyed everything

I think if law enforcement was just passing by and saw it then you didn't have a very good spot lol but do you have any links on how to build something like this?

slugs and deer are the only things i have problems with, depends where you are i guess.

I see snails a lot around the bottom of my pot and occasionally one makes into the pot but no harm YET. Mainly dealing with white flies and spider mites right now but looks like those are clearing up..

Moth balls my friend. Kinda make a circle around your plant. Then put some out in a radius. Keep deer and a lot of pest away believe it or not. Tie some bars of soap up to. Deer hate it. You can also tie fishing line across a deer trail. They run in to it and it freaks them out.

Mainly worried about bugs, like i said it's a wooded area with small baby trees to cover the grow

Moth balls work. Bugs hate them. I grow in black berry, honey suckle, pine thickets. I never really had bug problems.

You could use some neem. You can plant mint and garlic around it. Bugs hate them to.

use some 1x1s build a frame.around it with plenty extra room all around screw together and wrap the hole thing in like 2 layers of screen to.keep bugs out. Then once you starting getting buds get a clear plastic panel or or etc and place on top of.frame to keep rain off to help against mold when.it buds

Where would you buy moth balls? And how much for neem oil?
You can get both at Walmart. A dollar or two for moth balls. Six or seven for neem oil. Only apply neem in the evening or it will burn. And don't use it in flower.

Some of us can't do that in illegal state. That's putting a red flag on your plant.

I am illegal as well screen is black and wood is black or Camo after paint. it would and could be harder to see if done right. it costs about 20 dollars and
does real well with Caterpillars

I really never had bug problems. I guess its where I grow around black berries and honey suckle. I guess the bugs are more interested in them. I also noticed if I plant in a healthy area I come back and find spiders and what not protecting my plants.

I will give your method a try to see if I like it.

My main worry/problem is caterpillars as they will destroy a plant. It keep them off nicely. The screen also help camouflage the pretty.green leaves and still allows.plenty of sunlight to pass
