wat are sum ways i cud keep bugs from eating my plant?

I use Garlic water, I smash about thrre cloves, chop it fine and out in hot water. After it cools down put in spray bottle. I strain it out begore hand and put the chop bits on the ground around the plant

nice... I have heard of people using red pepper too..

Ive been useing lady bugs lol, they have been going to town on pesky little critters.

do they stay long,(ladybugs)
